Prayers of the Faithful

As the Father sent his Son to heal and redeem us, we now ask him to hear and answer these prayers that we may be comforted in any affliction.

  • For the Church, may God help us remain faithful to all of his commandments and grow in the fullness of the truth, let us pray to the Lord

  • For civic leaders, medical personnel and others coordinating a response to the  coronavirus, may God give them wisdom and strength,  let us pray to the Lord.

  • For those infected with or recovering from the coronavirus, may Jesus, the Divine Physician, offer them hope and healing,  let us pray to the Lord.

  • For all of us gathered in prayer at this moment, may the Holy Spirit increase in us a spirit of conversion and openness to his work in our lives, let us pray to the Lord

  • For those prayers we quietly ask at this time, let us pray to the Lord

  • For those who have died, may they know the peace and joy of God’s love through all eternity, let us pray to the Lord.

Merciful God, we know that you are the giver of all good things.  Hear and answer these prayers that we bring you today through Christ our Lord.  Amen

The Lords Prayer

Closing Hymn

Ashes to Ashes, D. Schutte.MP3
00:00 / 02:25

Closing Prayer

Look upon those who call to you, O Lord,
and sustain the weak;
give life by your unfailing light
to those who walk in difficult times,
and bring those rescued by your mercy from every evil to reach the highest good.

Through Christ our Lord.
