Opening Hymn
Opening Prayer
O God,
who through the grace of adoption
chose us to be children of light,
grant, we pray,
that we may not be wrapped in the darkness of error
but always be seen to stand in the bright light of truth. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God,
for ever and ever.
Amen

Prayers of the Faithful
Confident in the abundance of the Father’s love, we bring our prayers and petitions before him.
-
For Church leaders, may God look graciously upon them as they continue to strengthen and give courage to those entrusted to their pastoral care. We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
- For all civil leaders, may the God of peace and justice inform their efforts. We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER
-
That those who have a vital role in determining the appointment of our Diocesan Bishop will be filled with all the graces and wisdom to make their decision. We Pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER
-
For those who have died in faith, may they rest eternally in the peace that only God can give. We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
-
For those intentions we ask at this time...., We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
Heavenly Father, we rejoice in your Son, Jesus Christ, and in the gift of your Holy Spirit. Hear the prayers we offer this day, through Christ our Lord.

The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Meditation Hymn

Closing Prayer
May this prayer
we have offered and received
fill us with life,
O Lord, we pray,
so that,
bound to you in lasting charity,
we may bear fruit
that lasts for ever.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen
