By your help,

we beseech you, Lord our God,
may we walk eagerly

out of love for the world,
your Son handed himself over to death.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,

your Son,
who lives and reigns with you

in the unity of the Holy Spirit,

one God,

Homily

Prayers of the Faithful

We offer our prayers to our God, who calls us to be his people.

  • That Christ may form his deacons, priests, and bishops ever more in his image and spirit, let us pray to the Lord.

  • That the Lord may teach all nations and people – from the least to the greatest – to know his love, let us pray to the Lord.
  • hat those whose hearts are experiencing despair may be consoled by God’s peace, let us pray to the Lord.

  • That all who have died may soon experience eternal life in the glory of heaven, let us pray to the Lord.

  • For the intentions we hold in our hearts...., let us pray to the Lord.

God of heaven and earth, in your loving kindness hear and answer our prayers. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Meditation Hymn

Bread for the Broken, B. Martinez
00:00 / 05:20

Closing Prayer

Bless, O Lord, your people,
who long for the gift

of your mercy,
and grant that what,

at your prompting,

we desire

we may receive

by your generous gift.
Through Christ our Lord.

Amen.
