Let us Sing in Glory to God
Opening Hymn
Opening Prayer
O God,
who teach us that you abide
in hearts that are just and true,
grant that we may be so fashioned
by your grace
as to become a dwelling pleasing to you.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God,
for ever and ever.
Amen.

Prayers of the Faithful
Together as one voice, we turn to our merciful, ever-present God with our prayers and petitions.
-
For world leaders, may God give them fortitude in working to promote peace and unity, let us pray to the Lord.
-
For all who are grieving broken relationships or the loss of a loved one, may God’s presence offer comfort and healing, let us pray to the Lord.
-
For those discerning a vocation to the priesthood or religious life, may God grant them strength and wisdom, let us pray to the Lord.
-
For those who have died, may they rejoice in the communion of heaven with the angels and saints, let us pray to the Lord.
-
For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts, let us pray to the Lord.
Loving God, trusting in your saving power, we offer these prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Meditation Hymn

Closing Prayer

Grant, we pray, almighty God,
that we may experience
the effects of the salvation
which is pledged to us by your love. Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
