Let us Sing in Glory to God
who in this wonderful Sacrament
have left us a memorial
of your Passion,
grant us, we pray,
so to revere the sacred mysteries
of your Body and Blood
that we may always experience
the fruits of your redemption.
Who live and reign
with God the Father
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
for ever and ever.
Prayers of the Faithful
Knowing God’s great love for all of us, we can confidently bring our needs before him.
For Pope Francis, our bishop, priests and all who serve the Church, may the Lord strengthen them in their mission of bringing the light of Christ to a weary world, let us pray to the Lord.
For our civic leaders and all who help formulate public policy, may the Holy Spirit guide them in all that they do, let us pray to the Lord.
For our parish family, may the love and truth that God has poured into our hearts sustain us in all that we do, let us pray to the Lord.
For all who have completed their pilgrimage on earth, may they find eternal joy in their heavenly home, let us pray to the Lord.
For the intentions we ask at this time...., let us pray to the Lord.
God our Father, hear the needs of your people and respond with mercy and compassion. We ask through your Son and our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Grant, O Lord, we pray,
that we may delight for all eternity
in that share in your divine life,
which is foreshadowed in the present age
by our reception of your precious Body and Blood. Who live and reign for ever and ever.
