Prayers of the Faithful

Let us turn to God, who is generous in mercy and forgiveness, presenting the needs of the world before him.

  • For all who have sought and found the Lord in his holy Church, and for those who are in the process of finding their way, let us pray to the Lord.

  • For political and national leaders, and for all who assist them in exercising their authority, may God open their hearts to his guidance, let us pray to the Lord.

  • For all who are unemployed or underemployed, and for those who seek to help them, may the Lord provide for them, let us pray to the Lord.

  • For all who have died, may they experience the eternal joy of the heavenly Kingdom, let us pray to the Lord.

  • For those intentions that we ask at this time...., let us pray to the Lord.

God of abundance and generosity, we ask that you hear our prayers and grant them according to your holy will, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Closing Prayer

Graciously raise up, O Lord,
those you renew in your Love,
that we may come to possess your redemption both in mystery and in the manner of our life. Through Christ our Lord.
