Let us Sing in Glory to God
Opening Hymn
Opening Prayer
Almighty ever-living God,
whom, taught by the Holy Spirit,
we dare to call our Father,
bring, we pray, to perfection in our hearts
the spirit of adoption
as your sons and daughters,
that we may merit
to enter into the inheritance
which you have promised.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
your Son,
who lives and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
Amen
Homily

Congratulations to the young men and women of our parish who received the sacrament of confirmation this week.
Due to the Pandemic our original Confirmation date, that was scheduled in March, had to be postponed.
This past Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we gathered and in five separate Masses celebrated by Bishop Perry of the Archdiocese of Chicago, our young people were confirmed and anointed with the Holy Spirit.
May God continue to work through them to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel throughout our world.
Prayers of the Faithful
Aware of God’s quiet presence at work in our lives, we place our needs before him.
-
For Pope Francis, successor of Peter, may God continue to bless him with good health and vitality, We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
-
For those sinking in the waters of pain or fear, may Christ the Divine Physician calm them and grant them peace of mind. We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
-
For all of us, may the Holy Spirit help us more firmly embrace our faith in a loving God. We Pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER
-
For those who have died, may they be welcomed into the eternal life God gives through his Son. We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
-
For all the prayers that we hold in the silence of our hearts. We pray: LORD, HEAR OUR PRAYER.
Loving God, hear our prayers as we seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus each day. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
The Lord's Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done
on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Meditation Hymn

Closing Prayer
May our communion
in prayer with you, O Lord,
Save us and confirm us
in the light of your truth.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen
