For I received from the Lord what I also handed on to you...
A pilgrimage is a journey, often into an unknown or foreign place, where a person goes in search of new or expanded meaning about their self, others, nature, and God. It can lead to a personal transformation, after which the pilgrim returns to their daily life.

And the end of our pilgrimage we ask, how have I been transformed?
St. Paul was transformed by the faith he received from Jesus Christ. A faith also shared with him by the disciples and apostles of the early church. He would in turn give what he had received.
There is much that we have received from our Journeys in life, and many ways we have already handed that faith on to our family, friends, strangers, and communities. This Pilgrimage in the footsteps of St. Paul is yet another gift we have received. A gift to now - return home - and share with others.
